Facilitating learning is my passion! From a vocational apprenticeship training program, to the university classroom, and into the global corporate world, I have always been dedicated to building engaging learning experiences for adult learners.
Instructional Design is a natural progression for me. My experience as an educator provides a strong foundation to applying the best practices of instructional design. This includes building course and program curriculum, stating clear learning outcomes, and creating compelling content, so learners can apply knowledge and skills to real-world situations. Learners appreciate these learning opportunities via various LMS systems for blended, virtual, and instructor-led trainings. With new technologies and authoring tools, the learners I reach will also delight in scenario-based e-learning trainings, video trainings, and longer training modules.

The analysis, design, and content development in an instructional design process are integral to effective training . With my experience in assessment for departmental placement testing and achievement, I recognize the importance of assessing learning outcomes to ensure that learners can effectively apply training content. This is also an opportunity to evaluate the impact of the training design and learner satisfaction in order to promote continuous improvement of training deliverables and the learning experience.
